An advisory from the organizers at UC San Diego:

Now is the time to register for the Center for Medicinal Cannabis Research (CMCR) free, virtual two-day symposium on Thursday and Friday, April 21 and 22, 2022 from 8AM-12Noon Pacific Time (11AM-3PM Eastern Time) celebrating Medicinal Cannabis and Cannabinoid-Based Medicine: Progress, Policy and Partnership.

We will kick off the symposium with keynote addresses from the 2022 CMCR Awards recipients, Drs. Daniele Piomelli and Donald Abrams. Following the awards presentations, Drs. Piomelli and Abrams will be joined by Drs. Raphael Mechoulam, Geoffrey Guy, and Igor Grant for a roundtable discussion and to respond to audience questions.

The 2022 CMCR Symposium will also feature scientific talks and live question and answer sessions from an international lineup of scientists who will present their latest clinical and translational research findings in medicinal cannabis, cannabinoid-based medicine, and the endocannabinoid system. Additionally, a diverse group of experts will participate in panel discussions on topics relating to public policy, university-industry partnership, and diversifying the supply of cannabis and cannabinoid products for clinical research purposes.

I shouldn’t have cropped Mechoulam out of the awards picture. That’s his friendly hand extended towards Francoise Barth of Sanofi-Aventis.
