The University of Oregon football team will go into the national championship game tomorrow without ace receiver Darren Carrington, who had seven catches for 166 yards and two touchdowns in Oregon’s Rose Bowl victory over Florida State. The players were given a surprise drug test prior to that game, which subsequently revealed cannabis metabolites in Carrington’s blood. Carrington’s coordination was not impaired, obviously. What an outrage.
Josh Frankel, son of cannabis clinician Allan Frankel, MD, is a legendary hero to Oregon football fans, He kicked the last-minute winning field goal against rival Oregon State in 2001.
