I am pleased to report that earlier today we officially launched The Harvard Campaign. We seek to raise $6.5 billion to support the creation of knowledge, the dissemination of knowledge, and its deployment in service of the world.
We have an extraordinary opportunity to shape the future at a time of challenge and transformation for higher education. Each of us has an important role to play as we lead Harvard towards its fifth century. I am privileged to be joined with you in this work.
