Vice spun off into a 2nd cable channel called VICELAND/H2/HBO.
These 8 episodes are part of their new series called WEEDIQUETTE ☀️
(These vets, Ryan and Danny, are both thriving and high-functioning on adjunctive treatment with cannabis)!
DEA APPROVALS still pending in order to finally start this FDA approved clinical trial.
On June 22, 2015, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) announced that it had eliminated the redundant Public Health Service (PHS) review process for federally regulated marijuana research, removing a significant barrier to privately funded medical marijuana research.
TBD – Local DEA inspection for Phoenix site
TBD – Federal DEA approval for entire study
TBD – Final Johns Hopkins IRB approval
TBD – Order shipment of marijuana from NIDA
TBD – Initiate study!!
This DEA approvals are basically the last hurdle in order to finally implement this Cannabis clinical trial and enroll our first veteran after six years of delays.
Once we have our DEA schedule one licenses and DEA approval of the scientific protocol,
then we can finalize IRB approvals and purchase cannabis study drug from NIDA/University of Mississippi.
When we have the cannabis stored safely in our lab, we can finally start screening Veteran patients.
Let me know if you have any questions!

Our account of you getting the runaround from the University of Arizona wound up on the cutting room floor as the story kept changing shape. This is what we published in the Winter 2015/16 issue.
