This analysis of the 1999 Institute of Medicine Report was written and laid out in a publication that Dr. Mikuriya and I were developing in 1999 to be the journal of the California Cannabis Research Medical Group. Then the District Attorney of San Francisco made me an offer I couldn’t refuse to be SFDA’s Public Information Officer. The piece ran in O’Shaughnessy’s “book issue.”
